Ha! Maybe I should've worded that differently, because financial instability is absolutely a thing that is really fucking hard. But I'll play it out... To what extent have we internalized the values of capitalism? Do we still yearn for acceptance within a society that is sick in almost every way? Have we surrounded ourselves with others who share our values? Have we not sufficiently leaned into the ancient tradition of claiming a life of poverty as moral and ethical high ground over others?
